ABOUT THE POSITION

Ovzon, a Swedish tech company at the forefront of satellite communication, is now looking for an Assembler for its production operations. The company develops and delivers mobile broadband services via satellite to customers with high demands for availability, security, and performance – for example, in defense, emergency services, and international organizations. With its own satellite capacity and advanced terminal technology, the company offers a comprehensive solution that enables communication even in the most challenging environments. The operations are characterized by innovation, rapid technology development, and close collaboration between product development, production, and business.

The role of Assembler involves ensuring high quality in the production and delivery of satellite terminals, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency. You will be part of a small, high-performing team and work closely with R&D and engineers in an environment with varying tasks and small batches with high precision.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Assembler at Ovzon, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of mechanical, electronic, and radio technical components and systems. The role involves ensuring high quality in production and delivery, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

• Assembly of mechanical components and structures according to drawings and instructions.
• Installation and soldering of electronic circuits, cabling, and modules.
• Testing of radio components, including antennas, filters, and complete satellite terminals.
• Performing functional and quality tests on finished units.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical and electronic issues.
• Documentation of work processes and deviations according to established routines.
• Ensuring that work is performed according to applicable safety regulations and quality standards.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has at least a high school diploma
• Has experience in assembly within precision mechanics, electronics, and/or radio technology from previous work or education
• Has a good understanding of drawings, schematics, and technical instructions
• Has a strong technical interest, enjoys practical work, and is curious to learn more
• Has practical experience in soldering and cabling
• Has excellent knowledge of Swedish and English

It is a merit if you

• Are certified in soldering
• Have a high school or post-secondary education in mechanics, electronics, or equivalent
